Introducing the Cut and Carry. The cutting board that fold into a container. If you want to package food that you've prepared, or package food to prepare for later, the Cut and Carry is for you!
For this project we needed to design a houseware tool and model it in Rhino. I thought that making a cutting board that could fold into a Tupperware would be a fun new product. Whether it be for carrying fresh food to prepare camping, or just getting out of the house with food quickly, I thought it would be a nice product to have.

When I had the idea for the foldable cutting board, I originally thought of a shape like a cardboard takeout box. My process was mostly trying to come up with different forms that would be better, but I always kept going back to the original concept. Here are sketches of different ideas I had, and different low-fidelity prototypes from my process.
This project was a big learning step in my knowledge of Rhino. Here is the different modeling stages I went through to get to my final design. The final render was made in Keyshot.
